Works just like you would expect. You screw it into a tree, then attach the trail camera. Fits my Bushnell trail cam.

This was a bit of a disappointment. I gathered that the mount would got most moultrie cameras. However when it arrived I found it was not compatible with my m-80 model. Through a little trial and error I was able to use it by positioning it laterally on the tree. The mounting bolt supplied does not fit the m-80, I had to find one that fit my camera.
