The X8IRNG features an 8 mega-pixel camera delivering crisp, clean images for the user to view with an option to use two resolution settings of 8 mp or 5 mp to get increased memory from your camera. The nighttime images captured by the X8IR are made possible through the use of the 35 No-Glo IR (Black Infrared) emitters with range control that illuminate with an effective range of 40 feet without spooking the animal and providing better quality photos in the dark. Other great features of the X8IR include VGA digital video at 20 FPS, 15/30/60 second video clips, 1/3/6 Burst Mode Technology for still images and a 20 second /1/5/10 second time. The SD external memory card slot accepts up to 16 GB. The digital video stamping allows the user to view time/date/moonphase on last frame to accurately track the animal activity. The X8IRNG No-Glo Digital Video Scouting Recorder operates on four “C” cell batteries and is fully capable of working with an auxiliary power jack for use with a 12v battery. The mounting strap is included.

Very impressed and very to use. The toggle switch settings let me set-it up without having to fumble thru instructions for an hour. IMpressed witht he quality of pics so far. Bargain for the money.

Great product for the money. I really like the toggle switch system vs program buttons.
it takes clear pics and works well to keep an eye on my house
with the black IRs you don't notice it.
