Bought camera for around $80. set up during sept near a large feeder. over three weeks it took 3800 pictures. Yes, 3,800! We had a hurricane roll through, knocked down a bunch of trees and all the tree swaying, it took a lot of pictures. It took some getting used to. First i placed it too low. A nice big flower and some tall weeds were about 15 feet away and every time they swayed, there was another picture. Day time photos were abundant. Very clear and great color. Moved camera to another location, larger tree, about two foot higher and tilted it down with a small stick and trimmed some trees for better line of sight. It was still taking 174 pictures in two days. trimmed some more brushes, a 10 foot tree with lots of little branches that had a lot of white buds, then it settled down and only took a couple of pictures per day. Daytime pictures are still mostly vegitation activity. I did notice on the night time photos, near the edge of the photo range a few deer. I will set it for burst mode next time. I wish i had a closer tree that would be suitable. but i have to deal with the distance as it is.
I have another brand name (Wildview) camera that took 24 pics in the same period and it had a flash, yes the deer noticed it but they did not seem to be spooked too badly. 24 pictures and it exhausted 4 c batteries. It has a strobe flash and B/W night photos.
3800 pictures with IR and LEDs and the Hunten camera still have some battery left. Both cameras set up for the same three weeks. I'm looking for another camera and will probably stay with the Hunten products.

Purcahsed to watch my property while I am away. I am not a hunter but love the simple set up and photos day or night. No flash to give away it's position, IR lights do glow so if you look right at it you will see the camera. Up high no one will notice it. I put tape ove rthe led red and green light so they can not be seen. Good photos, so far great battery life. If it had multiple mounts I would hve gave it 5 stars. I made a bracket that cost me about a dollar and was all set. Get 2 of these. Great deal.

love this new cam!it has all the features i need to monitor my property for cat burgerlers!
its easy to program and durable.so far so good.i placed it on my land let see how it fares in the
field.
